Ze Flowers

Currently in Malindi (yes, hate me) and babes is napping so I decided to appease y’all with some wedding pictures. These are not professional. Got them from my peeps who are awesome enough to take such details!

Car Deco – I should mention that only the BRIDAL car got flowers. Its just how I roll (Plus it really is not necessary as I have said time and time again).

I had specifically asked for black and white bows. When I checked into church and saw green and white bows, I was like, WHAT IN THE H???? But as babes says, its never that serious. But on the real, it makes it seem like the colour scheme is green and white while green was only an ACCENT colour and the main colours were supposed to be BLACK and WHITE (serious deduction of points due to this faux pas).

Ok, I give her serious props on my bridal bouquet. It was just what I wanted. Pure white flowers with the damask ribbon (which I got online at Hobby Lobby). It was hard to settle on which white flowers but I had googled and seen a very well done carnation bouquet and that is what I went with.

These were the bridesmaids bouquets( yes, they wore black dresses but thats not the point). The florist definitely GOT what I wanted (green hypericum berries) but she did not tell me she would have to dye maroon berries. See, she had assured me that she could get GREEN berries. I so was not happy about this but the flowers looked nice in the pictures (damask ribbon was also used). So the groomsmen had the green hypericum berries as their boutonnieres. If I feel inspired Ill post a picture.

The big question: who was the vendor? Well, thanks for asking: It was Lydia at Wedding and Floral Design Centre on Rhapta Road. She gets a B+ due to the reasons stated above.
